I first encountered this idea of being weird from Seth Godin’s blog. Later, I purchased his book devoted to the topic and fell in love with the idea. I can’t recommend this book or the follow-up book, Tribes, strongly enough.

Dre seems to have come to these conclusions by her own lived experience. She makes many of the same points that Godin makes in his book, but presents them in a way that’s more concise. I hope you’ll enjoy this episode and that you’ll take us up on the challenge that I issue at the end where I encourage people to share their true, authentic, and weird selves and to tag both myself and

in the post.
