I agree it's difficult to discuss most fiction on substack (and on the web in general). There are only two substack writers I feel I could post about outside of their comment sections and get an actual response from other readers, and those are also website dependent (S.E Reid's fiction on substack notes, What Manner of Man on tumblr). For most other pieces of web fiction trying to post about them feels like all call and no response.
Which is why I like this trying to create that space for discussion and will be looking forward to future episodes.
